The purpose of the videos is to provide visibility of what each stage is trying to achieve, and the Support is to help you and your horse get there.
The structure is designed to work in a logical sequentional manner, building on previous stages.
Struggling to get a horse to move off your leg?
Need to step your horse over to open or close a gate while riding?
Fed up of your horse falling in or out on a circle?
Struggling to get a good entry up the centre line?
Does your horse lean into you when handling?
This introduces turning in a light, more balanced way.
You must have a light aid with Shoulder Turns and Quarter Turns before moving on to this, to help your horse to understand what you are asking and to get the best results.
How many of us lose the horses shoulder or can’t get enough hind leg across in the Leg Yield, end up shoving or hanging on to the reins trying to keep some form of straightness and hope to make it across the arena!
This enables you to control the shoulder and quarters of your horse, so when you move on to Leg Yield (a forward diagonal movement) your horse is in control of his legs in a straight and balanced manor.
